But through many years’ spiritual study and practice, I experienced growth and deep healing. By God’s grace and my response in devoted, consistent action—over time—I learned to identify more with the blessings than the injuries of my life, and I emerged from my suffering with dignity, strength, and a heart open to endless possibilities. The journey wasn’t easy, and progress often felt painfully slow, but I found my way back to the light.
